We held our 30th anniversary Orchid Ball event on March 19, 2016 at the Troy Marriott.  We welcomed more than one hundred Brothers, Loved Ones and Friends to celebrate our Zeta-Pi Chapter’s anniversary of being chartered in 1986.

Those joining us included National Executive Board members as well as several of our own Founding Fathers and Charter Members, including dozens of Alumni and those from the Undergraduate Chapter.

Recognizing all of the work he’s done as an Alumnus and in leading the coordination of this milestone Orchid Ball event, the Undergraduate Chapter awarded Brother Michael LaFerle with the annual Distinguished Alumni Award.

Sage Chris Taylor gave a speech on the State of the Undergraduate Chapter:

A big theme this year was our Chapter’s History, and we presented the first-ever Heritage Awards to Founding Fathers Michael Hess, Michael Martin and John Pearson whose Brother Lines continue on today.

This is a look at the Chapter Memorabilia displayed at Orchid Ball. (Note: No Sound, as the video is muted to eliminate the loud music playing in background):

We also paid a long overdue Founder’s Award to Founding Father Charles Surinck, and he was the 4th Brother to receive this award since it was first given on our 20th anniversary in 2006.

You can view photos from this year’s gala on the Orchid Ball 2016 page, and make sure to check back for more pictures as they’re added — as well as videos of some of the presentations given at this year’s event.
